This PAS 1192 term has been superseded by ISO 19650 term Post-appointment BEP.

It is a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) which shall be re-submitted by the Lead Appointed Party and confirmed by the Task Team and the Appointing Party to demonstrate understanding, agreement and committed to the Exchange Information Requirements. It should be submitted at the Appointment stage

Appointment phase of an asset lifecycle

The BEP facilitates the management of the delivery phase of the project. It is a live document which should be developed over time at each Task Team appointment and when required to support the delivery team information exchange.

The Post-contract BEP should include:

  • A response to Employer Information Requirements requirements of the EIR
  • Revised Project Implementation Plan (PIP)[1]
  • Responsibility Matrix
  • Details of Management Planning and documentation
  • Methods and procedures
  • A TIDP
  • A MIDP

[1] The PAS 1192 term PIP is not used in ISO 19650 framework but it is equivalent of the supply chain capability summary forms:
• the BIM assessment form;
• the IT assessment form; and
• the resource assessment form.

It shall be provided as part of requirements to establish the delivery team’s capability and capacity, clause 5.3.4 of BS EN ISO 19650-3
