data aggregation

Data aggregation refers to a process that involves gathering information and expressing it in summary form for statistical analysis or other purposes. In many cases, data aggregation is exclusively done to get more information about particular data sets based on explicit variables such as issue type, weather, stakeholder etc.

In relation to BIM and Digital Construction, it relates to data collected and gathered over a specific time period on CDE and aggregated to provide summaries such as maximum, minimum, average, sum, and count displayed in visual form in a dashboard, for example, PowerBi.

This information can then be applied for many benefits including project management.
